Activity Description
Discover with us the famous Gorge of Enipeas! A magical route at the foot of Olympus! Hiking in the Enipeas Gorge crosses imposing ravines, green ravines and crystal clear rapids. We hike in a really impressive natural landscape!
After a short passage through Prionia, we continue to the Old Monastery of Agios Dionysios. From here we start our journey. Nearby we meet the amazing Waterfall of Enipeas! Its waters fall with momentum from a height of 38 meters forming a beautiful blue-green lake! During the summer, it gives unforgettable moments to the adventurous who decide to dive in its icy waters!
Our route follows the river from the left, while then we cross it seven times from beautiful wooden bridges, having its bed sometimes from the right and sometimes from the left. We hike under the shade of huge trees, in dense vegetation and accompanied by the sweet sound of the clear waters of Enipeas. It is worth noting that the river water is drinkable in almost all its places, while it usually does not exceed 0 degrees. In the last part of the route, the wonderful view of the Aegean emerges in front of us, while in front of us stands Zilnia, a large climbing field of the area. Soon we reach the place "Mill" of Litochoro, which is the end of our hike.
