Our expedition begins in Chania, leading us southward to traverse the expansive orange valley. Amidst the fragrant orchards and farmlands, we'll weave through Varipetros, Agia, Alikianos, and Fournes, each village a reservoir of distinct aromas and cultural nuances.

Elevating to 1000 meters, our journey intensifies along the heart of the White Mountains. Navigating shepherd's paths and untamed terrain, the panoramic views of wild vegetation, grazing livestock, and awe-inspiring landscapes invigorate the senses.

At 1680 meters above sea level, Kallergi Refuge offers an unparalleled overlook of Samaria Gorge and the Libyan Sea, a breathtaking reward for our off-road adventure.

Resting at Omalos Plateau, a traditional Cretan tavern awaits, indulging our senses with local delicacies and authentic platters, providing a taste of the region's culinary heritage. (Please Note: The cost of lunch during the tour is not included in the price. Participants are encouraged to budget for food purchases during the lunch stop.)

**In winter, December to March, snowy mountains may alter our route. If the Samaria Gorge mountains are snow-blocked, we head to Xiloskalo's entrance and alternate off-road paths through villages become our scenic route.

Adventure Tips

• The trip is ideal for everyone who's looking for an experience beyond the ordinary, for example, youth groups, single or couple participants, families with older children, and companies.
• The trip has guided stops every 30-40 minutes, for everyone's convenience.   
• We can arrange vegetarian alternatives when meals are included, but the information is required upon reservation. This also counts for any kind of food allergies, to find suitable alternatives if possible.

Important Information

• The trip is not recommended for people suffering from car sickness, having mobility or kinetic or back problems, pregnant women or children younger than 7 years old as we don't provide baby seats, or people taller than 195 cm or heavier than 130 kg. Alcohol consumption is not allowed to minors under the age of 18 years old. We reserve the right to make minor changes in the program when considered necessary, for example, in case of unfavorable weather conditions. This can be done without any prior notice. 
• Please note that during winter (December-March) the Kallergi refuge may be inaccessible due to dense snow. In that case, we reach Xiloskalo (the entrance of Samaria Gorge) and then we follow alternative off-road routes through mountains and villages.
