One day hiking in Olympus
Activity Description
The activity will start from the old monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus at an altitude of 840 m. We will walk through the gorge of the Enipea Gorge, following the path to Chandolia. Our destination is the "Dimitris Boudoulas" Cross Shelter at an altitude of 960 m.
The trail is considered one of the most beautiful in Mount Olympus and in some places we will have the opportunity to see the highest peaks of Mytikas and Stephanie. We will also see the cave of St. Dionysius and the river of Enipea. The trail is of medium difficulty with a length of about 8 km and our journey will take about 4 hours with breaks.
