Hiking at Tripi Waterfalls, (NE Parnassos)
Activity Description
Hole Waterfalls! One of the most beautiful mountaineering routes in Greece for adventurous lovers of mountain nature!
In the ravine of Velitsa, in the northeastern Parnassos, and at an altitude of 1,250 meters, spring the impressive Waterfalls of Trypi. These are two parallel waterfalls, one small and one larger. The water of the small waterfall springs through a large hole in the rocks, hence the name "Hole". The largest waterfall has a total height of 82 meters. The waterfalls are located between the high peaks Liakoura and Kalogiro, peaks, which exceed 2,000 meters! This is a really impressive location with lush vegetation surrounded by imposing peaks.
Our hike starts from Tithorea and continues to the two parallel waterfalls. The beautiful path that we follow has in some places a significant slope as well as demanding passages, in which we have to be secured with a rope and a boulder. The view during the hike is truly unsurpassed!

- Vehicles that can move on a dirt road from Tithorea to the starting point, Agios Giannis.

Detailed program:
- 09.00: Appointment in the village of Tithorea
- 09.00-09.30: Transfer with your own jeep vehicle to the starting point of the hike
- 09.30-13.00: Ascent
- 13.00-14.00: Break for food and tour of the waterfalls
- 14.00-17.00: Descent
- 17.00: Finish in Tithorea
