Mikros Gialos - Syvota - Afteli beach - Agios Petros - Egremni beach

We organize a short getaway to favorite places and routes on the island of Lefkada with its wonderful beaches and the endless blue of the Ionian Sea. Cycling easily on the electric bikes, we end up swimming in ultimate “hidden” beaches. The beauty of the routes and the view will surely enchant you, the turquoise waters of the sea will leave you speechless and this two-day event will, for sure, be an unforgettable experience.

Tour Program

• 1st Day:

In the morning, we meet in the village of Mikros Gialos (Poros). Check-in at the hotel and depart on the electric bikes for the small beach of Afteli. After about 9km we reach the beautiful Egiros, a village with about 40 inhabitants, where Homer mentions that Odysseus drank water from a fountain located there, the “Arethousa spring”. After a short stop in the village and we go on for the last few minutes to our final destination. After Egiros, the view is truly breathtaking. The small plain next to the village of Marantochori is on our right and the clear blue Ionian Sea with the small beach of Afteli is at the end of the road which we reach in about fifteen minutes. It is said that Telemachus, son of the mythical king Odysseus, landed in this small cove, coming from Pylos, where he had gone to learn news about his father. Here, in this little paradise, one cannot resist the turquoise waters of the sea. At a very short distance from the beach, there is also the cave of Odysseus’ faithful swineherd, Eumaios, where Odysseus was accommodated. In Afteli, we have enough free time to swim, drink coffee and relax on the beautiful little beach. Then, we take the way back and after reaching Egiros, we stop in the village for an iced beer or coffee in the traditional village cafe. Then, we set off for our hotel where we arrive in the afternoon. After resting, we have dinner in the picturesque port of Syvota.

• 2nd Day:

After breakfast, we are driven to the village of Agios Petros where we get on the electric bikes and head for the south-western part of the island, specifically for the enchanting beach of Egremni. The route through pine trees and the view of the endless blue of the Ionian sea takes our breath away. All the shades of blue combined with the white sand will undoubtedly delight even the most demanding visitor. In less than an hour, we reach the beach for a refreshing swim. Here, we have plenty of free time to relax and cool off by taking a dip in one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean! Afterwards, we take the way back to the village of Agios Petros on the electric bikes. In less than an hour and a half, we reach the village where we have lunch out in the village square, tasting local specialties, concluding a wonderful excursion to the wonderful island of Lefkada.

• All our cycling tours are always carried out with a certified guide-bike companion and a support car.
• Children can participate in all our excursions, always accompanied by an adult-guardian. Otherwise, we will need a declaration from the parent.
• Children from 14 years of age and older (with a minimum height of 150cm) can use their own electric bike. For younger children, there is the possibility of using a tag along children’s bike connected to an adult’s electric bike. For infants up to 22 kg, we use child seats of European standards.
• Excursions take place all year round and on all days, weather permitting. The departure time is usually 09.30 in the morning but depending on the weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) it can change.
