Kapesovo - Tsepelovo - Iliochori - Balta di Stringa Waterfall
This is one of our most beautiful cycling tours, especially during the summer.
Tour Program
Our best selling one-day excursion is not accidental. Our e-cycling in fantastic landscapes includes; a customary traditional picnic in the “gyftokambos” area, a visit to Tsepelovo but also to the “Sarakatsaniki Stani” and a short hike to the waterfalls of Iliochori. Our appointment is in the village of Kapesovo. After the technical briefing, we are ready to start a great day. We leave Kapesovo and the stone staircase of Vradeto in front of us, we head towards Tsepelovo. After 15 minutes, we reach Tsepelovo and make a short stop at the picturesque square of the village. Then, after passing the village of Skamneli, the landscape changes completely and the traditional settlements are replaced by firs and pines. After about an hour and just before the “Sarakatsaniki Stani”, we make our long stop to enjoy our picnic with traditional pies, seasonal fruits, tsipouro and other local delicacies. After the picnic, there is a short tour of the Sarakatsaniki stable. In this open-air museum, we see up close konakia, stables, kiosks, looms and other settlements of this nomadic Greek tribe. There are about 30 minutes left before reaching the village of Iliohori, where the cycling part of the excursion ends. Here, we leave our bikes and start our short hike to the beautiful “Balta di Striga” waterfalls. After relaxing in this hidden ‘paradise’ of the area, we take our way back to the transfer car. Arrival in Kapesovo. Here, a wonderful day full of fantastic images comes to an end.

- All our cycling tours are always carried out with a certified guide-bike companion and a support car.
- Children can participate in all our excursions, always accompanied by an adult-guardian. Otherwise, we will need a declaration from the parent.
- Children from 14 years of age and older (with a minimum height of 150cm) can use their own electric bike. For younger children, there is the possibility of using a tag along children’s bike connected to an adult’s electric bike. For infants up to 22 kg, we use child seats of European standards.
- Excursions take place all year round and on all days, weather permitting. The departure time is usually 09.30 in the morning but depending on the weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) it can change.

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 14 and 30 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
- Cancellation 14 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
