A few words about Xerovouni ...

Xerovouni is a limestone massif in Central Evia and is essentially a continuation of the mountain complex of Dirfi. Its highest peak, Portaris, has an altitude of 1,453 m. The vegetation of the mountain consists mainly of pines and firs and secondarily beech and chestnut forests.

Our route ...

We start our hike enjoying the admirable view of the majestic Mount Dirfi on our left and the Xerovouni mountain range on our right, which are awe-inspiring as they are the highest part of Evia, with an altitude of 1,743 m and 1,453 m respectively.

Then we will hike on our path, in a dense forest, rich in flora. Do not be confused by its name, as Xerovouni is anything but "dry", since there are many springs and a large vegetation of evergreen and deciduous trees!

We reach the plateau and enjoy the imposing view of the peaks around us. We continue the route to the top in an alpine landscape with majestic rocks hugging the top!

Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
