Socrates olive oil tasting

Our company is a family business, which was created out of love for our place, the olive tree, and quality olive oil. We are olive oil producers in the traditional olive grove of Delphi and we conduct olive oil tasting and tour.

From Delphi, the center of the earth in ancient times, and since 2014 we have been producing the extra virgin olive oil "SOCRATES OIL" and the Amfissa olives "SOCRATES OLIVE".

With the main aim and purpose of producing excellent and premium virgin olive oil and guided by the traditional ways of cultivating and caring for olive trees, we produce olive oil of excellent quality, with special aromas and a characteristic aftertaste.

Our olive oil has won 10 quality awards in international competitions and the gold olive oil packaging award in the London competition, where it was also the only Greek gold.

The olive grove is a world heritage monument protected by the Unesco treaty. The first olive trees were planted here 2600 years ago. It is the largest contiguous olive grove in the Balkans, with an area of approximately 67,000 acres and 1,200,000 olive trees. At the same time, visitors can buy olives, olive oil, and other olive products.

If we are in the harvest season, (November - February) there is the possibility of visiting a modern olive mill, where visitors can watch the production process of olive oil extraction.
