Ski Pamvotis

The Pamvotis Ski Club was founded in 2008.

Since 2013 and after the creation of the athletic track in Amfithea Ioannina we have organized four European Championships in our facilities which are one of the most modern in Europe.

The Amfitheas coaching channel does not communicate with Lake Pamvotida and is supplied exclusively by the water of the Senteniko, Drabatova and Blitsi springs. The water is absolutely pure.

The group operates as a sports training center, with a slalom track and jumping darts, both from April until the end of October. Water ski lessons are offered to beginners of all ages.

Skiing is aimed at athletes from the age of five to the age of seventy-five, a great way of exercising and getting in touch with nature.

At our facilities there is a lounge for athletes where they can rest between workouts and for our athletes we have a special trampoline so they can train themselves in figure skating and balance exercises necessary for water skiing.

In addition, a slalom made by the water skiing club, which is absolutely essential for the training sessions, has been placed in Ioannina Lake.

The workouts are performed with equipment (skis, life jackets, overalls, gloves) which we provide athletes with our equipment. Every athlete of any age and according to his experience is equipped with the appropriate skis etc since we have one of the best ski collections in Greece.
