The Equestrian Club of the Prefecture of Ioannina (IONI) is located in Fteri Pedini, 5 minutes from the city center of Ioannina. It operates in a well-organized safe and landscaped space in nature with modern sports facilities. It is a registered and official member of the General Secretariat of Sports (GGA) and the Hellenic Equestrian Federation (EOI). It is also the only group in Epirus and Northwestern Greece certified for therapeutic riding by the RATCH-Pennsylvania Council on Therapeutic Horsemanship.

We have a very good and strong team of athletes with many participations and distinctions in various equestrian competitions in all equestrian sports in Greece and abroad. IONI has highly trained trainers with many years of experience in the management, care, and training of horses, horsemen, and athletes. It also has a riding school for learning all equestrian sports: Equestrian endurance-Overcoming obstacles-Equestrian skills-Coaching-Horse yoga-Therapeutic riding and Athletic riding for the disabled with fully trained, experienced, and safe horses.

At IONI you can enjoy a walk in nature on the back of an experienced and beautiful horse, always accompanied by the coach and her assistants.
