Activity Description
Live the ultimate hot dog experience on the Aoos River. A descent of difficulty level 4-5, lasting 6-8 hours depending on the water flow and 20 kilometers long, under the guidance of certified and experienced sportsmen-guides, ideal for experienced climbers.
It is one of the most thrilling activities in river waters that raises the adrenaline to the heights, giving the ultimate feeling of freedom!
Aoos is the only Greek river that flows outside the Greek borders. Its upper section reaches the 5th degree of difficulty, offering a unique hot dog experience, ideal for very experienced climbers!
The route on the Aoos river starts from the Aoos bridge between the villages of Palioseli and Vrysochori and ends at the Konitsa bridge.
More specifically, it starts in the area of the Stomio Monastery and is lower than the Aoos dam, with continuous 3rd-grade passages. Then we head towards the biggest bridge in Greece, the bridge of Aoos. It is an architectural marvel, 40 meters long and 20 meters high.
The area is dominated by the green beautiful gorge of Aoos, its stone bridge in the area of Konitsa, and the unique natural landscape, which make the route truly enchanting.
The descent of the river is done with a two-seater inflatable boat (raft hot dog), which is narrower and much more flexible than the rafting counterpart, while the oars are used for proper navigation and avoiding obstacles.
Safety comes first and for this reason, a professional certified athlete - our guide, will accompany you in another boat, throughout the journey.
