Hiking in Mikrolimni and Kranies, Florina
Activity Description
An excellent hiking route of 10 kilometers, total duration of about 4 hours in Little Prespa of little difficulty starting from the beautiful fishing village on the banks of Little Prespa, Mikrolimni.
We follow the lakeside path, where in 2 kilometers we meet the meadows of Lachista, and then, in 2.5 kilometers we end up in the abandoned, since 1949, the village of Kranies. Returning from the same path backward and reaching Lachista, we follow another way, approximately 3 kilometers long, which ends at the church of Agia Paraskevi between the villages of Oxya and Mikrolimni.
The route beyond the natural beauty has to tell several stories of how the inhabitants lived before and after the civil war.
