A wonderful mountain route for everyone in the heart of Evia, suitable for everyone.

A few words about Xerovouni

Xerovouni in Central Evia is a continuation of the mountain complex of Dirfyos. Its highest peak, Portaris, reaches an altitude of 1,453 meters. Although "Xerovouni" has rich vegetation consisting mainly of pine, fir, beech and chestnut forests.

Our route: Diaselo - Xerovouni Plateau - Pigi Konisma - Diaselo

We start our route enjoying the spectacular view of Mount Dirfys on our left and Xerovouni on our right. The two mountain masses are awe-inspiring, as they are the highest points of Evia, with an altitude of 1,743 m and 1,453 m respectively. Then we hike on our path, in a dense forest, rich in flora. Do not be confused by its name, as Xerovouni is anything but "dry", since there are many springs and a large vegetation of evergreen and deciduous trees! Our destination is the Xerovouni Plateau, where we enjoy the amazing view of the surrounding peaks, with the landscape becoming alpine with majestic rocks hugging the top! We descend from the Plateau and follow the route to the beautiful Konisma spring. From here to the source stretched the old agricultural lands of Stroponi. We reach the peak of our route and enjoy the wonderful scenery at the spring, surrounded by bare sycamore trees, lots of running water and carpets of fallen sycamore leaves.

Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
