Activity Description
Join us to discover the alpine landscapes of Papigo region, to admire the famous Drakolimni (or Dragon Lake) top of path walking down the small Papingo. The path to the Drakolimni takes 9-10 hours for a one-day hike.
Dragon Lake refers to the alpine lakes that are formed mainly in the mountains of Epirus. Drakolimni, located in the alpine meadow of Tymfi, at an altitude of 2,050 m, is the most famous Drakolimni in Greece, with a very impressive landscape.
We provide you with all the gear needed and be sure that our gear is in the best condition ever.
We will start our hike from Mikro Papigo and after about 3 hours we will reach Astrakas Refuge where we will make a stop. Then the hike to Drakolimni takes about 1.5 hours. On the way back we will take the opposite route.
