Parnassos with its rich fir forests and imposing landscape has a very wide network of rural roads and paths. Due to its uninterrupted habitation since antiquity, the mountain has been extensively mapped and is suitable for all kinds of excursions. In the Mountain Bike program in Elatodasos Parnassos, we ride our bikes and enjoy this unique environment!
Starting point at Parnassos Meadow, we tour gentle paths and dirt roads in the heart of the National Park. During our cycling route we have the opportunity to see the unknown cavern "Eptastomos". The impressive abyss is located near Kalania at an altitude of 1,300m. The cave with the seven openings hosts inside the southernmost glacier of Europe and its temperature does not exceed 0 ° C. Come and discover the unknown treasures of the beloved Parnassos!
The distance we travel is a total of 8-10 kilometers, with an altitude difference of 100 meters.
