Tour Itinerary

• 09:00 Hotel/spot pick up (Private Transfer)

Meet your personal guide at your hotel to pick you up by a comfy air-conditioned vehicle at around 9 am. On our way to Lindos, admire the east coastal side and stop for a panoramic photo with the imposing Lindos rock as your photo background, one of the most photographed scenes in Greece.

• 09:50 – 11:45 Lindos Acropolis & Lindos Village

About 50 minutes later, you arrive at Lindos. You walk up the hill for about 12 minutes to marvel at the magnificent Acropolis of Lindos (optional); standing for centuries on the top of an imposing rock, proudly overlooking the Aegean sea. On the first level, you can see more recent buildings like the 1317 Castle of the Knights of St John and a Greek orthodox church. On the second level to the south, you can marvel at the remains of the 300 BC Doric Temple of Athena Lindia. Take the way down the slope and enjoy a leisurely stroll around the whitewashed labyrinth of little alleyways and cubic houses sprawling down the hillside under the Acropolis. Visit other monuments of Lindos such as the Ancient theater or the Virgin Mary church in the center of the village or just do window-shopping wandering around the cute charming shops.

• 12:15 – 13:00 Rhodian Pottery Demonstration

Then, we take the car and drive for twenty minutes approx. It’s time to make a little history of your own by embracing the long yet dying tradition of ceramics, only a handful of families still produce on the Island. You are welcome by the family-run workshop owner, an artisan himself. You are given a tour around the pottery ovens and the showroom, while he narrates the storied history of Rhodian ceramics. Now it is time to roll up your sleeves and try the pottery wheel! Craft and hand paint your own masterpiece! You toast your achievement with some Greek ouzo offered by the owner.

• 14:00 Hotel/spot drop off (Private Transfer)

After visiting the most famous village on the Island and after experiencing an authentic side of Rhodes-style pottery tradition, you are transferred back to your hotel.
