Our journey begins at Gerakas, a place that truly takes your breath away with its unique landscape and impressive natural rock formations.

Before embarking on our hike, we can learn about the sea turtle hatcheries and the Zakynthos National Marine Park. While enjoying the stunning view of Gerakas' famous and beautiful beach, we can deepen our knowledge of the local nature and understand the value of preserving this area.
Next, after approximately two hours of hiking through aromatic herbs, a forest of cypresses, old settlements, mulberry trees, and olive groves, we reach an idyllic spot to enjoy a refreshing swim. Our wanderings culminate in a small secluded beach, offering us a sense of tranquility and isolation from the outside world.

Gerakas and its surrounding area provide a unique experience filled with natural beauty and adventure. From our starting point among the impressive cliffs to the pleasure of bathing in the peaceful beach, this excursion is an opportunity to discover the authentic beauty of Zakynthos and embark on an unforgettable adventure in nature.
