Activity Description

Ymittos is a wonderful nearby destination that hides many beautiful surprises. Like countless paths, many of which lead the visitor through the wonderful forest, and makes the visitor forget that he is only a few kilometers away from the center of Athens.

The route we will follow is easy and anyone can follow it. We will visit the Byzantine church of the Taxiarches, we will move towards the Kaisariani Monastery, without visiting it, then towards Kalopoula and then arrival at Pyrofylakeio.

Information:

The round-trip route is approximately 6km. Footwear should be boots. Comfortable clothes and anyone who wants a small backpack to put some essentials such as water, snacks and perhaps an extra shirt, walking sticks (optional).

The program is shaped as follows:

10: 00 meeting at Kessariani fire station from where we will start our hiking.
14:00 End of activity

Suitable for children from 8 years old and over like our four-legged friends !!
