Canyoning in Papapidima Gorge, Tzoumerka
Activity Description
Canyons are deep cuts in the earth carved by water, streams and torrents, creating waterfalls and ponds. Crossing these canyons - canyoning - is an activity that requires climbing equipment, as well as special protective suits (neoprene) against water and cold.
Papapidima Gorge
The gorge is located a little above the Tsibovou bridge on the Arachthos River.
It is a canyon ideal for beginners in Canyoning and easy for the whole family.
It has jumps and flying fox and not very high rappels in six waterfalls with the smallest at 3.5 meters and the highest at 20 meters. It has escapes just in case, very important not only for safety, and easy walking for the start and finish.
Have fun!!!!
