Activity Description
Lake Tsivlou was created in 1913 by a landslide between the villages of Sylivaina & Tsivlos. The lake is very deep and fed by underground springs and forest streams. Lake Tsivlou is considered the youngest natural lake in Europe.
Our Lake Tsivlou canoe tour begins with our meeting at the designated point on the lake. We begin our activity with a safety briefing before entering the water with our canoes. Then you paddle in the lake and after an hour of paddling you will get the necessary equipment and go to the field where the archery activity takes place.
You can combine your tour of Lake Tsivlou by canoe with a stay in Kalavryta at the beautiful Orias Guesthouse and Farm. Unique hospitality in spacious rooms with a view of Helmos and delicious meals with homemade ingredients straight from the farm.
