ATV-Quad Santorini Experience Tour (morning & sunset tour)

In this ATV- Quad tour you have a chance to explore Santorini from the seat of a sturdy all-terrain vehicle. It is ideal for adventurous travelers who want to escape the crowds. You will get access to unpaved roads and hidden coastal caves that tour buses can’t reach, pass through the traditional village of Megalochori, take a break for wine tasting and Greek snacks paired with caldera views, and much more.

Our adventure starts from Perissa (black beach) always following off-road paths.

The first stop is at Emporio and the Venetian castle, built in narrow streets that feel like a labyrinth, you leave the ATVs and you “get lost” in them. There you can enjoy greek coffee or juice in one of the most traditional coffee places on the island. You continue towards the windmills with the incredible view, and through the vineyards, you ride to Megalochori, probably the most traditional village on the island.

After a short break, you will discover the magnificent caldera. At this point, if you haven’t stopped for coffee you visit the oldest winery in Santorini. There you will taste high-quality wine (3 wines) and a snack with cheese, olives, tomato paste, and kritharoboukies.

This spot will take your breath away, the whole caldera lying on your feet, a fantastic place for photographs. Your journey has not ended yet, you continue riding along the caldera where you will see small secrets and hidden places that only through a local’s view you can find and discover them. There you will see the heart of the island and a unique chapel inside a cave.

Next stop, Vlichada riding on offroad paths only, halls with rocks carved from the wind and sea, images from another planet, a place protected from NATURA, (during summer you make a stop for a smoothie and you can take a dive in the sea, you have 40′ free times). Your course comes to the end riding along the black beach to Perissa. Extra Highlights are that you learn about the history of the area from your knowledgeable guide and you can take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Santorini Sea

• The starting times for the evening tour are changing every month because we need to return before sunset
• We always send a reminder with the exact pickup time one day before the tour
• The driver cannot wait longer than 10 minutes, the customers must be on time ( this also applies for private tours )
• Our tours are not wheelchair accessible, not recommended for travelers with back problems, not for pregnant travelers, or for travelers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

Safety Tips

Before the ATV tour, we give safety tips to the customers and they do a test drive to get familiar with the vehicle. The tour guide has the right to decide whether it's safe for the participants to join the tour.
