3-day excursion Pauliani - Ypati - Thermopylae (from Thessaloniki), on 16-18/3
Activity Description
A three-day adventure through hidden paths and thermal pools in Thermopylae. From bridges and fairies to villages and waterfalls, a journey full of surprises in Lamia and Ypati.
The program in detail:
Saturday 16/3
We leave on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. to the well-known spot, Everest in Voulgari. Next stop 7:15 statue of Venizelos, Aristotle and finally 7.30 third stop Koletti Street, in front of One Salonika.
Early in the afternoon he will find us in the city of Lamia and after settling into our hotel, we take only the essentials and leave for the thermal waters of Thermopylae where we will dive into the natural pools. After enjoying our bath and feeling well, we leave for the village of Gorgopotamos where we will see the famous historical bridge and eat in the taverns of the area. Then we will return to the city of Lamia for rest at our hotel and night walks on the pedestrian streets of the city.
Sunday 17/3
After having our breakfast, we leave for Pauliani where we will walk along the well-known path with wooden bridges, swings and humorous elements. A beautiful path next to waters with plane trees and fir trees. At the highest point of the route, on the iron throne, we will enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding peaks and the mouth of the Sperchios River! Afterwards we will have free time for food, coffee and rest.
Late afternoon return to our hotel.
Monday 18/3
On the morning of Clean Monday after breakfast and after packing our things, we leave for the beautiful village of Ypati!
In Ypati we will walk along the path of Farmakidos which ends in a waterfall. There will be free time for a coffee in the village square. Then we take the road back where we will stop for our Lenten meal.
Early in the evening he will find us back in Thessaloniki.
